This week saw another Pro Golf Tour tournament, this time at the Bonmont golf course between Lausanne and Geneva. I was able to take part in this tournament once again by invitation from Swiss Golf.
With rather rainy conditions in the days leading up to the tournament, preparation was somewhat difficult, but this didn’t affect me once the tournament got underway! Indeed, with the first day finishing with a score of -2, I was well placed to make the cut and confirm my current good form. The second round got off to a great start with a string of birdie/birdie/eagle finishes on the first three holes. I also finished the day with an excellent score of -2, which allowed me to make my second consecutive cut!
A final day with little success prevented me from climbing the rankings, but with a score of level par, for a total of -4, I remain extremely satisfied once again with my performance on this professional circuit.
My results over the last few weeks have been very encouraging and motivating for the rest of my career. I’ve been able to compare myself with some excellent players and see that my game competes pretty well, giving me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.
