I just had te chance to play another Pro Golf Tour event, this time in the Netherlands. It was my first time ever playing in this country. The tournament was hosted at De Gelpenberg, a beautiful golf course.
The first round started nicely for me, with a first nine at level par, unfortunately the back nine was a bit harder with a few bad shots and tough breaks that lead me to a 3 over par finish. The goal was clear for the next round: shoot 3 under or better to make the cut.
What I can say is that I fought very hard until the end, my eagle attempt on 16 stayed a few inches short that would have pushed me in the good side of the cut. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be this week for me. I still take away a lot of positives from the week, especially on the mental side.
Overall, a very valuable experience as I am still new into this professional events, learning how to manage my game in new ways. Onto the next !
