What a week…
It all started with a huge sense of satisfaction: making the cut in my very first appearance on the HotelPlanner Tour. That was clearly the main goal coming in, so achieving it on the first attempt feels like a real milestone.
The day that got me through the cut was particularly solid, with really good feelings on the course. Playing at that level, in that kind of environment, is incredibly enjoyable and confirms that the work is moving in the right direction. At that point, everything else felt like a bonus for the weekend.
Unfortunately, the last two rounds didn’t go as I had hoped. But focusing only on that would miss the bigger picture.
This week taught me a lot. The level required on this tour is extremely high, and every detail matters. It’s a great benchmark moving forward – knowing exactly where I stand and what still needs to improve.
Most importantly, there are plenty of positives to take away. Making the cut in these conditions, in a first appearance, is a real achievement and an important step in my journey.
