Swiss Challenge

Receiving an invitation to compete in the Swiss Challenge is always something special. Having the opportunity to play at home, in front of familiar supporters, at an event of this level is a true privilege. I would like to sincerely thank Swiss Golf for this opportunity.

The week did not start under the most favorable circumstances. The draw placed me in one of the toughest conditions during the first round. Strong winds and persistent rain made scoring extremely challenging for the entire field.

Despite the difficult weather, I am particularly pleased with the way I fought throughout the day. In conditions like these, attitude and resilience are often just as important as the quality of your golf. I stayed committed until the very last hole, which is something I can take a lot of confidence from.

The second round was played in much better conditions. I was able to produce a level of golf that reflected my current game more accurately and posted a score of 1-under par. It was great to regain some positive momentum and finish the week with better feelings on the course.

Unfortunately, it was not enough to make the cut. Of course, there is some disappointment, but it is outweighed by the lessons learned from the experience. Every tournament at this level provides valuable insight and helps me continue progressing as a player.

I leave the Swiss Challenge with many positives, more experience, and plenty of motivation for the next stage of the season.

Now the focus shifts to the Pro Golf Tour’s German Swing, which begins this week. Another great opportunity to keep improving and build on everything I learned during this Swiss Challenge.
