Pro Golf Tour in the Netherlands: Missing the cut by just one shot despite encouraging performances

No two weeks are ever the same on the Pro Golf Tour! After a great performance in the previous tournament, this latest event in the Netherlands proved more frustrating, as I missed the cut by just a single shot.

A disappointing result, especially considering that my game and overall ball-striking were actually better this week.

An improving game, but a frustrating result

After such a positive week, I was hoping to carry that momentum forward and deliver another strong performance.

Unfortunately, despite playing more solid golf and feeling more comfortable on the course, I wasn’t able to make the most of my opportunities and secure a place in the final round.

In the end, just one shot separated me from making the cut.

That’s one of the challenges of professional golf: playing well doesn’t always guarantee the result you’re hoping for. Every shot matters, and the smallest details can make all the difference.

Taking the positives and moving forward

Although the disappointment is real, I prefer to focus on the encouraging aspects of the week.

My game was improving, the feeling on the course was good, and the hard work continues to pay off. The next step is to turn that progress into more consistent scores and better results.

These moments are all part of the learning process on the professional circuit. They remind me how important it is to stay patient, trust my game and keep working, even when the results don’t fully reflect the quality of golf I’m producing.

One final tournament in the Netherlands

There’s no time to dwell on the disappointment!

I still have one more tournament to play in the Netherlands before heading back home.

Another opportunity to put this week’s lessons into practice, build on the positive aspects of my game and, most importantly, turn those improvements into a strong result.

The goal is clear: keep moving forward and finish this trip with a great performance!
